Quality

Quality is of course a fundamental challenge, and is covered by continuous improvement initiatives throughout Hispano-Suiza. It is also a pivotal part of ensuring customer satisfaction. To meet these objectives, our own suppliers are full-fledged participants in our Quality plan, and enjoy support from Hispano-Suiza in making their own improvements.

Our quality policy is anchored in six primary objectives: Customer satisfaction, Quality during development, Process control, External supply chain Quality, Quality in production, Skills (lien Company Quality Policy).

Our Quality policy applies company-wide and everybody in the company is mobilized to meet these goals. Hispano-Suiza’s Quality improvement projects are grouped under the Safran+ banner.

Certifications

Hispano-Suiza has been certified by leading international organizations.

- ISO 14001: environmental management system
- AS/EN/JISQ 9100: Aerospace quality management system – requirements (ISO 9001:2000) and quality system – Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and operation (ISO 9001:1994) – Standard in America (AS), Europe (EN) and Japan, applied throughout Asia (JISQ).
- ISO 9001 – AQAP 2110: Quality management system and quality system (9001) – NATO quality assurance requirements for design, development and production (AQAP 2110) – International standard (ISO).

- 14 CFR Part 145: maintenance certification, American regulation. FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
- EASA Part 145: maintenance certification, European regulation. EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
- EASA Part 21-G: production certification, European regulation. EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
