Electrical systems and equipment
Hispano-Suiza is a pioneer in the technologies and systems needed to develop “more electric” aircraft. Through our Safran Power division, we design, develop and produce the electronic power controllers needed for electrical systems and equipment on commercial, regional and business aircraft.

Safran Power’s primary objective is to provide Safran group companies with best-in-class power electronics and power management solutions for the electrification of their components and subsystems. The division also offers aircraft manufacturers worldwide an integrated system architecture that includes electrical power generation and distribution.
Innovative aircraft system architectures
Safran Power plays a pivotal role in the development of products and services offered by Safran group companies for aircraft electrical system architectures. It provides proven expertise in analyzing requirements, testing and certification, spanning flight control actuation systems, landing and braking systems, integrated power plant systems (engine and nacelle), and the entire energy transmission and distribution system.
Calling on its experts in electrical systems, plus extensive production and test resources, Safran Power can develop solutions that meet these requirements for all types of business, regional and commercial airplanes, as well as helicopters.
